This is your chance to build something from the ground up. As the first Digital UX/UI Designer on our product design team, you’ll be part of defining and executing the UX vision for Loop’s upcoming connected apps. From designing seamless user interactions to scaling our digital design identity, you’ll be hands-on in both strategy and execution. You’ll move fast, iterate quickly, and ensure our users get the best possible experience. Define, design, and deliver the future of Loop’s digital experience 

As a Lead Digital UX/UI Designer, you’ll be the driving force behind UX/UI execution at Loop, combining big-picture thinking with hands-on design work. You’ll take concepts from wireframes to polished UI, translating product needs into sleek, high-performing digital experiences. You’ll also prototype, test, and iterate rapidly, ensuring we stay user-focused and agile. Working closely with product management, engineering, design and marketing, you’ll make sure our digital products are not only beautifully designed but also intuitive, scalable, and effective. 

Your other responsibilities: 

• Lead UX/UI design for our connected apps, driving everything from user flows to final visuals. 
• Execute fast and deliver high-quality designs, guiding the strategy, structure, and execution from concept to launch. 
• Define and evolve Loop’s digital design identity, ensuring a cohesive, premium user experience across all digital touchpoints. 
• Collaborate with and guide external agencies and freelancers, ensuring design consistency and high-quality output. 
• Run user research and usability testing, gathering insights to inform smart design decisions. 
• Guide and mentor future team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a strong UX culture. 

How you’ll succeed as a Lead Digital UX/UI Designer 

You’re not just a designer—you’re a doer. You think strategically but also love to execute, iterate, and ship fast. You’ve led UX and UI for multiple connected consumer apps from concept to launch, so you understand the challenges of bridging digital and physical experiences. You work well with cross-functional teams and can communicate design decisions with confidence. As Loop grows, you’ll also play a key role in mentoring and shaping the future digital design team. 

These key competences will set you up for success: 

• Proven experience designing and launching a connected app for a consumer brand, with full end-to-end ownership. 
• Strong hands-on execution skills in wireframing, prototyping, UI design, and usability testing. 
• Fast iteration mindset—you move quickly, test often, and refine designs based on real feedback. 
• Located in Antwerp or Amsterdam to collaborate closely with our product and leadership teams. 
• Full-time freelance contract.
